How does the Easylock security door work?

Plastic pet flaps crack, warp, and become very rigid when exposed to weathering over time. When this happens plastic pet flaps provide little sealing ability as well as provide your pet with a new chew toy. Plastic flaps also scratch easily and collect dirt and bacteria within those scratches which is hard to remove. The Freedom Pet Pass flexible canvas coated thermal pet flap is a high performance pet flap designed for extreme weather. The marine grade canvas is highly abrasive resistant and easily cleans with a non-detergent cleanser.
What pet door size is right for my dog?
The two available sizes are medium and large. Our flexible pet door flaps work great for pets of different sizes sharing the same dog door. Choose a dog door that allows at least 1 inch clearance from your tallest dogs back at the top while allowing enough bottom clearance for your shortest pet to pass through. It is important to purchase a dog door of the correct size for your pet so they can easily pass in and out of your home. Need help finding the correct size dog door for your pet?
Why is a tunnel with frame kit not included with either wall mount model? A wall mount tunnel with frame kit made of plastic or metal may not produce the most attractive look for your home. Our wall mount dog doors allow you to match and/or decorate your tunnel and the interior and exterior trim of your home to that of your new dog door entrance. This will produce a custom look that plastic and metal tunnel with frame kits cannot. You will not purchase something you may not use. This product is positively designer friendly. Some tips to consider when installing your new dog door. Buyer Be Aware Energy efficiency is an important factor when purchasing a pet door for your home; remember you are cutting a hole into your exterior wall. We do not use aluminum wall mount tunnel with frame kits because aluminum results in heat loss and/or condensation build up.
